We are at a critical time and your voice matters!

Dominion Energy is only offering 2 LED options: 3000K and 4000K. Both emit unhealthy blue light for our neighborhoods and wildlife.

We propose the following:

 2700K or lower for neighborhoods

 2200K or lower for wetlands and wildlife areas

 Zero Uplighting & Adaptive Controls to dim lights or turn off when possible

Here is how you can help:

 Email your City Council Representative and copy your Civic League President (if applicable)

 Find your representative here: https://www.norfolk.gov/200/City-Council

 Stress the need to hire a lighting consultant experienced in healthy LED streetlight conversions

 Request all future streetlight conversions stop until Norfolk has a design plan that includes VDOT’s 5 lighting principles before moving forward

 Insist Dominion Energy offer healthy LED options at 2700K and below with dimming capabilities

 Spread the word to friends, co-worker, neighbors in Norfolk

 Help us get in front of any interested business groups, civic leagues or other community action groups.
